Account Creation Instructions
When creating a new OASIS registration, please note that you may create a registration for a single user or multi user account.
**If you have previously established an OASIS account and have a password, please login using your email address and password by clicking here.
Creating a Single User Account
Creating a single user account can be accomplished by registering your email address, name and telephone number. OASIS will ask you to create a password. Please be certain to maintain your password for future reference; however OASIS will allow you to request a new password by clicking here.
Creating a Multi User Account
Entities having multiple employees who will be accessing files within OASIS, may wish to consider establishing a multi-user account. In a multi-user account, a single administrator for the multi-user entity will be able to establish and maintain passwords and login information for all entity participants requiring access to OASIS. One advantage to a multi-user account is that registered participants within the organization will have access to all of the files where the organization is a participant. Thus, if the entity is a five member law firm, each lawyer may be able to view all of the files handled by the law firm, not just those files where an individual attorney is a registered participant in the case.
For further information about multi-user accounts, please telephone the Appeals Board’s information and assistance officer at 916-274-5751.
Once a registered user and case participant, you may accomplish the following tasks online:
1. View case information, documents, and exhibits.
2. Review scheduled events
3. Upload documents to the case
4. Change participant information, including changing a representative’s or employer’s contact information.
If you are not a case participant you may register as a user. You will not be able to view case documents or the online case file; however, you will be able to view calendaring information such as when a hearing is scheduled to occur. The identity of the judge scheduled to hear the case will not be available to anyone who is not a case participant. You will also be able to conduct a search for a case by inputting the name of the employer or inspection number to determine whether the case has been docketed.
Neither DIR nor OSHAB represents or guarantees the accuracy of documents provided by a registered case participant that has been uploaded into OASIS.
Information found in OASIS is not legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
The appearance of, or reference to any law firm, lawyer, consultant, expert or any other individual or entity in a document or record found in OASIS does not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by DIR or OSHAB. Case participants determine who will represent them, if anyone, as well as who to retain as a consultant or expert for an appeal solely at their own discretion.
